X92.9 did not know what hit them today.  With no warning, no tagging, we didn’t want them to know beforehand, until the very last second, I set it up on twitter ‘see you soon’.  That was it, we start showing up, one by one on the stairs, in front of their window.  First I don’t think they knew what to make of it.  Then because of a recent rant by one of them, they assumed we were cross fitters, until we bounced, and told them we weren’t cross fitters, by any means, they quickly saw our shirts and did a search on social media, BOOM!  They figured it out quick, for the entire hour they gave updates that we were still doing it, offered us pizza, and gave some mad shout outs!  Radio station invasion, was kinda cool. read more

We made it, we wore black, and scaled walls and bust into the stadium, or someone might have opened the gate for us, hard to say.  Either way, we made it in, and we crushed some serious stairs.  Wanna talk about the tour, some of us did it twice over, everyone pushing no matter what distance it was.  These humans are rad, and they might know it. read more

Thumbs up  if you were craving a serious dose of stairs for breakfast.  Ok even if you weren’t, you go it!  Today it seemed like everyone was on something, like they all got together before the stairs, and had some….red bull. Hit the stairs for a PR day.   Their game was on point, and these humans for the fiercest fucking humans in Calgary for 1 hour.  We had one woman who surprised us, by saying she came for a workout at the stairs and wasn’t expecting all of us there, she wasn’t happy, so we asked her to join us.  She didn’t this day, but she will.  We’ll keep you posted. read more

So today, Monday August 10th, we sing Happy Birthday to Rally Car Pete, while bikes fly over head!  Without a hitch, first shot, and we nailed it.  I am totally talking about the song, everyones pitch was incredible.

Then we workout, we got sweaty, we gave each other high fives.  Ok, lets really break it down, today for some reason, the energy was alive, the smiles were so bright the sun was wearing sunglasses….see what I did there.  For real though, today was epic, everyone was lit up, and just ready to take on the world with their bare hands.  It was some fierce humans that showed up, even our very own Dan who was away for the month of July, but had only one excuse as to why he was late, he showed up at the usual Monday spot and forgot to check the social media for the change of location, so he ran to the new spot! So, you might know him as the ‘Hockey Player’….but I call him homey Andrew.  He finally showed up, when he said he would, and as some of the NP peeps would say, the dude’s calves have calves, he crushed the stairs, so we got him on the core! Holiday, yes, do we still show up, yep, do we still work hard, fuck yeah!  That’s just it, no excuses, no sleeping in, it was about the hugs, the smiles, and the good vibes.  The crew was short some, but they were definitely full of something else,  I threw some tough, challenging, new items on the menu this morning, and they took each one and chewed it up, and spit it….well at me. read more

Wow, energy was like….well didn’t exist until we bounced, woke up the entire city with one loud ass ‘Fuck Yeah’, need I say more. This tribe is amazing in everyway.

So we did this workout, where I got to yell at everyone. That is all.

Word on the street is that Nadim Chin from NP_YEG is moving to Red Deer due to punishments, and somehow Tammarathon, AKA, me was exiled in the same way. I am happy to say, I have won the battle, and Pete will be going in my place to be put up against Nadim in a battle of strengths, a king of thrones type of challenge. You’ll have to wait to see what it could be, but think ‘survivor’. I myself am still waiting to race Jen with our white stallions in the mid point between the two cities, although I’d take Nadim on a foot race at any point. read more

Mondays are the day, that no one wants to get up, go to work, and leave the weekend. For November Project, that’s a whole different story, people look forward to Mondays, its become a habit to get up early, and get that sweat on before the work day.

This community, these humans, this tribe, they worked, they crushed stairs, hills, and even held some solid planks. Mondays are meant to start that week off right, and are full of ‘Fuck Yeah’s’. Co-Leader Tammarathon, still hobbling, but I hit the stairs the best I could, what got me fired up to even attempt it, was all of these people, and all of these people telling other people, and spreading the positive vibes; lets not forget the wicked cheer tunnels that occur.
