PR DAY TURKEY (LAX)

WISCONSIN NOTES:

  •  Cold. What is it? You think you know, but you don’t. Try one of the other #weatherproof trips way up north in Canada and then you can start to shiver. Take it as a challenge. A challenge to yourself, to those around you and to redefine this city.
  •  PA award. Who knew that it could be given to a leader. I love you all so very dearly and when I say there truly are no words to express the happiness you bring to my life and to everyone around you, I mean it. Thank you. You mean so very much to me.
  • #grassrootsgear tagging was 100% return rate. No t-shirt left behind today. Be sure to thank all the ladies and gents that helped tag your shirts. If you left your t-shirt two months ago come to Orrin and get that shit before he wraps them up for Christmas presents.
  • Family ties got real this morning with kids, mothers, daughters, ex girlfriends and bunnies.
  • Have a safe Holiday and see you FRIDAY at the Top of Runyon Canyon off Mulholland Drive.
  • RECORD YOUR RESULTS from today’s PR DAY!

    Hunt and Be Hunted (LAX)

We asked you not to feed the animals, but you went ahead and did it anyways. The following happened:

-Hunt and be hunted. There were some definite rivalries happening out there with the gorilla tags. One tag per lap to make someone do a set of burpees. OOO Ah Ah.

-Marion blew out her vocal chords from screaming hoisties way too loud making mothers walking with their new born babies stop and stare with confusion. read more

    Do Good LA! (LAX)

I give my time as a part of this exchange program at a yoga studio in LA. While working there this past Tuesday I was talking to one of my co workers about the recent attacks on Paris and how this has suddenly brought an extreme amount of attention to our safety and other attacks across the world.

When we are shaken by an event it gives us this reconsidering of values and makes us question the integrity of our lives. To think, what are we doing here when we realize how fragile we are. read more

    Guest Blog by Ryan (LAX)

Ryan is one of those tribemembers where you constantly see him smiling, he brings a presence that is unforgettable and he undeniably helps connect us all together that one extra bit more. We couldn’t be happier to have awarded Ryan with the PA award this morning. So well deserved. Turning it over to Ryan. read more

    Farewell Beachtober (LAX)

A poem to add closure to Beachtober

So the end of another epic month,

where all of us gathered in a bunch.

we huddled around, stomped our feet to the ground,

and we yelled fuck yeah’s way before lunch.

    The seagulls were a flocking,

with beach bums in the life guard tower rocking,

a woman left her bra, this is who we are, read more

    PR Bots. (LAX)

Well, it seems that you guys don’t like robots all that much. We thought you’d take it and run with it when we gave you the option to wear metallic and shiny shit for a costume contest workout but apparently some of y’all are too cool for school. Maybe it’s the fact that you guy’s take your workout so seriously and you were putting #raceeverything to the test! Maybe we chose a shit costume idea! Who fucking knows?! read more

No Pumpkins Were Harmed in the Making of This Workout (LAX)

That’s right. The Annual Pumpkin Workout was back in full force this morning and we are proud to say that there were no casualties to any pumpkins. As for tribemembers trying to catch flying gourds…we can’t answer that.

I think we could easily say that this morning was fucking epic as hell. Starting off with the circle of pumpkins for our bounce to find a friend and begin pumpkin tossing the weight of a 3 month year old baby was probably one of the safer things we’ve done. Screw safety because that piggy back ride was fucking hilarious. You all trooped through the sand not letting that precious cargo, no not you, fall to the ground. read more

    Beach Bums (LAX)

    Dear Beach Bums,

I’ve been trying to comprehend you all and the excitement you bring to this beach. It seems as though you’ve been let loose like a bunch of school children so hyped up on sugar that if you don’t move you’ll explode. Let alone the chit chatter that brings back memories good enough to make a mom pull over and need to cool her shit. What is most prevalent is the upmost amount of love and support for one another. read more

    GOOD MORNING BRITAIN (LAX)

    To Britain,

We’re happy you’ve come to terms with the whole war thing and that we can be friends. With your posh accents and your terribly starchy and yet so indulging food, we are more than happy to be BFF’s on the playground.

Today, we welcomed you into our home at the Hollywood Bowl with some newscasters from the motherland. Bringing out my own heritage it was beyond amazing to see my two worlds collide and share them with this crazy thing called November Project. read more
