Road to Rio (VB)
The Road to Rio starts here, right here in VB. Today we completed the olympic trials. Some WR’s (World Record) and OR’s (Olympic Records) were set and then broken.
We covered famous olympic events from Relay Races to Long Jumps to a good ole fashioned human Bobsled race.
IMPORTANT: If you have read this far and by read this far I mean (4 sentences and 2 pictures). Great. Keep reading; NEXT WEDNESDAY AUGUST 10th — We will be having our try at the Water Sports and continue with more gymnastic events as the NP_VB Olympic games officially get underway in Rio (Read 36th street at the Oceanfront) (YES, there will be a medal ceremony).
Saturday Sweat (VB)
Today we sang sweet caroline. Played make believe baseball. We probably worked-out with someone we knew and probably 2 people we just met for the first time.
We explored Town Center VB and no pokemon we harmed in the park. First I want to thank everyone who came out this morning! It means a lot. Old faces and new ones. Special Thank you to lululemon Virginia Beach for letting us host one of their many free, community building, events. For the newbies — we hope to see you Wednesday — 615AM at MT. Trashmore for some #StairsforBreakfast!
Work Before Work (VB)
It’s Friday. The weekend is almost here. So what do you do. What did we do? We decided to throw a last minute pop-up workout at the famed MT Trashmore Park (NP_VB HQ). Thanks to the power of Social Media, 10 people just showed up!
Story time.. Once upon a time there was the most epic weekend that NP_VB ever had. It started with a J&ARacing Tacky Tourist Fun Run at Hot Tuna on a Thursday evening at 615PM (FREE). Then it rolled into a NP_VB Friday Pop-up workout at 615AM (also FREE.99). Then on Saturday Morning all the friendly faces. PLUS some new ones. Just showed up for a SATURDAY 9AM workout at lululemon in Town Center (also FREE), which rolled into breakfast club at Citrus (Not Free), which rolled into a nice long day at the beach (FREE), which rolled into Saturday night dinner (Not Free), which rolled into Saturday evening drinks (Depends, Anybody wanna buy me a drink?), which rolled into saturday night dinner, which rolled into Saturday night at the club (So you think you can dance?), which rolled into uber everywhere (there will be no pokemon folks), which rolled into a really long run on sentence and a terrible hype story about how awesome and how NP this weekend is going to be. Start Hydrating NOW. Start the HYPE.

We race, We hug, We Bojan.. wait what? Yeah just go with it. Bojan is the name of one of our co-founding fathers. He also has a workout named after him. Sometimes we start with Bojan’s, Sometimes we end with Bojan’s. Today we ended with them. For those of you who wonder what Bojan looks like.. Here he is:
