Meet Kelsey. Not only is she the sweetest girl in the group, she’s also been part of the tribe since it was just a small number of people pledging to become an official November Project city. She is always super positive, energetic and constantly has a huge smile on her face (hence why she received the award). In other words, she’s kind of a baller. Did I mention her smile is super contagious? I could go on….but let’s have her tell you why she loves November Project so much:
Nashville Pop-Up Recap
Nashville, TN – The city best known for music & cowboy boots just got their first taste of a November Project workout. 14 awesome humans showed up for a sweaty hug and some free fitness. Best question of the day? At the end of the workout one of the Nashville locals said, Sooo see you guys here next week? I take that as they had fun and want more #grassrootsgear in their life. I think we smell a #NP_Pledge? Idk..
That Was Easy… (VB)
Wake up. Get dressed. Brush your teeth. Get in your car. Drive to Mount Trashmore. Very little thinking involved. It’s early, no one likes to turn on their brains until a. they’ve had coffee or b. their boss asks them a question and they have to respond for fear of being fired.
This morning situation is pretty standard for most November Project groupies. Unless, however, you are running the workout. What seemed so simple and straightforward in your head the night before is now coming out like jibberish or a foreign dialect of pig latin when trying to explain the workout to the group. “Run from cone A to cone C but don’t forget to stop at cone B and do 15 pushups” ends up coming out WAY more complicated leaving NPers with looks of concern and confusion.
Celebrity Match-Ups (VB)
Rise and shine kiddos. Red is gone for two weeks so we have two options: drink bottomless mimosas or do stairs until we can’t feel our quads. Clearly a no brainer- stairs for breakfast ALL DAY. We are getting bathing-suit ready down here in VA Beach where temps have easily stayed in the 90’s for the past few weeks. Not that we are complaining…..

First thing is First. ATTN: AMY is November Project Virginia Beach Co-Leader
Second thing is Second.
Remember that time News Ch 3 WTKR Just Showed UP to our workout?
Remember that time we took Yearbook Photos?
Thank you to Josh for coming out from WTKR and Jessica from NEWS Ch 3 for thinking our story was worth the NEWS. We started the workout with a little bounce and some hugs and some F Yeahs! Then we split into two groups – One running counter-clockwise laps and the other running clockwise laps. As we looped around we jumped out of the rat race for a little step-and-repeat EPIC yearbook photos. We wanted to remember this special day forever! Then as you made it back around to the Top of our favorite mountain of Trash – we high fived push-ups and did some burps if you lost your Rock-Paper-Scissor Match.
The Positivity Award Speaks: Meet Amy. (VB)
Amy has been a constant member of November Project Virginia Beach. She started back when, as she likes to call it “Pledge Mode” aka #NP_Pledge. Before the camera crews, before the large groups, & back when we used to call ourselves Heroic Hearts Project. Amy has been there. The first day I met Amy I knew she had that ‘something extra’ (The red hair may have had something to do with it). Fast forward a couple months later and Amy IS that ‘something extra’. She is my Co-Leader of November Project Virginia Beach and I couldn’t be happier.

4.8.2015 – Blog Catch up time.. not that any of you actually read these but here it goes.
April 8th was only a few weeks ago we had an epic (secret) #traverbal from the one and only TOM DORIO of NP San Diego.
We ran some stairs, walked down the isle, and planks our faces off.
Then we ended the workout with a nice little around the world.
