Tales of the Tribe: Cristina Lopez (DC)

After weeks and weeks of seeing Cristina crush stairs, toss out hugs, and burp(ee) like it’s no ones business, I found out at one of our Wednesday workouts that Cristina was running the Rock and Roll Marathon the next weekend. Her first question to me was, “if I run to Lobsterman Memorial, is that considered tapering?” That relentless ATTITUDE, goal crushing mentality is what Cristina does day in day out and we’re happy to have her on our team.  Cristina breaks down training with steps, training with new friends, training with smiles, and turboing through PRs, not just on PR Week. The VIBE is strong with @Cristina Lopez (G), she’s the shit. Boom. LOVE: Always.   read more

It’s a North America Thing (DC)

Today represented tribes meeting tribes, DC coming out of the arctic vortex, and a lot of stairs, per usual. Tribe number two in the founding of the Turbo 15, Madison had two lively members take a road trip down south to meet our Tribe. That is special,Emile SCHWABE & Amanda Ellmaker make the Tribe strong and smiling. read more

SPRINGing Forward (DC)

Daylight savings took away our classic @Matt_Anzur photos, but its a solid reminder that the photos are an added bonus to the workout, the smiles, and leg rubs we love. Instead of yapping about the workout and the amount of stairs we did, instead want to give out recognitions to people who continue to be unreal cool and fire me up. read more

#SeniorThesis Georgetown

To the school of Sperry’s and J Crew, we shook the ground a bit this morning. We did some yard work with partner wheelbarrows, climbed some mountains, and hopped stairs. Standard. What wasn’t standard was Billy getting the positivity award for being a badass and bringing that fire to the tribe. Good work Pentagon defense. read more

Be My NP Valentine

Snow, snowmen, kisses, and nice ear tickle. Our once grassy amphitheater, became: 773D9CBE-8E3B-42EE-B8CD-7288E754B78D

but that didn’t stop this love induced weatherproof tribe. We banged (pun intended) out a mini circuit workout and then threw down a challenge: 6 teams, 100 burpies, 100 pushups, 100 mountain climbers, and one snowman. Snowmen tagged, snowballs thrown, and hugs given. read more

#SeniorThesis: GW

In part one of our #SeniorThesis campus take over, we high tailed it over to George Washington’s campus for a morning campus wake up call to the undergrads. What ensued was hectic. After I poorly explained the workout (new method on workout roll outs coming next week) we did what we do best: hugs, steps, planks, and fuck yeahs. #WeekendEarned tribe, weekend fucking earned. read more
