Square Dance and get Lucky…charms??

Hearts, Stars and Horseshoes! Clovers and Blue Moons! Pots of Gold and Rainbows! And me Red Balloons!

While none of those shapes actually had anything to do with our Square Dancing Mayhem this morning, the fact that I know all of you just sang it while you read it, and now are craving the sugary goodness from your childhood, is awesome. ALMOST as awesome, as the leprechaun rendition of the classic jingle by our MVP Linda this morning! read more

Painting the sky…pink?

The Final Hump 2.0 has done it again.

It was touch and go there for a while… I almost didn’t get out of bed, alarms weren’t going off, it was cold, there was fog, our pets heads were falling off!! Yet we prevailed. As we started to warm up, so did the weather and a strange thing started to happen! The Marine Layer (excuse me, fog) began to take on our neon glow – that’s right Mo Nature – we WIN. It was no polar vortex, but try explaining to CNN how the Northern Lights can be seen from San Diego – the answer: November Project SD.

Breaking News!

In breaking news: The local gang of yahoos that refer to themselves as “November Project San Diego” experienced an assault of epic proportions this morning as they met for their weekly session of sweat, hugs and happiness. The authorities are still questioning the 42 witnesses, including one traverbaler from San Francisco, but it is believed the organizers of this mornings attack are still at large. Motives have yet to be calculated and it is unclear if the events were gang related. One witness described the chaos “like a Rocky Movie on steroids!” Investigators speculate the statement could have been construed from the lingering notes of “Eye of the Tiger” which rang from the NP SDers boom box just prior to the event (NP SD witnesses disagree). The November Project has been a growing force in the San Diego fitness scene and with it’s bright tribe members and their welcoming bear hugs, the wollop of this morning didn’t seem to dampen the energy they bring to the table every week. In the words of a neon clad San Diegan, “F**k yeah we’ll be back next week!”. In global news, world takeover is eminent… … … read more

Don’t be jealous, be inspired! read more

Daaaa Bears

When it was founded by the Germans in 1805, brave explorers were happily greeted by our friendly dolphins, sea lions and the occasional whale. Life was a Beach Boys themed music video, and all in the whales vagina was good. I’m no scientist, but through some evolutionary shit (and the invention of the airplane) the San Diego scene began to change. What was once a local beach town became a bustling melting pot of culture, people, music and…bears. read more

We may not have snow, but we’re real good at improvising

As we returned to our warm weather, basking in the glorious sunshine, the SD tribe leaders decided to pay homage to the #Powerful7 with today’s workout. Don’t tell anyone, but we secretly rigged the sprinkler system at Kate Sessions to follow us from station to station, it was as close to snow as we could get! Lauren rocked a specific yellow hat (brim popped, obviously), HOISTIES were in full swing, we dashed up a Denver-worthy mountain like Lincoln was chasing us with his giant logs, and then curtesy of our new boom box (yes, an actual big. boom. box.) we danced our assess off SF-style instead of really doing planks…wait… did we workout? Fuck yeah we did! Wanna know about it? I bet you do. It was awesome. #Justshowup next time, and you won’t have to hear about it from me!
Dennis (who loves oatmeal) and Kinley (a lover of strato-cumulo-nibus clouds) wear those capes well! Our positivity award has made it’s maiden voyage into San Diego culture, I’m sure Kev will show it a good time, and that it will be well documented! Fantastic turn out this morning! The marine layer may have hid the sun, but did nothing to shade our tribes growing glow – can’t wait to do it all again next week! As always: Be Happy, Be Strong, Be Bright SD! read more

We said there will be babies…

I am pretty sure this is the cutest mascot ever!
Lets face it we were born to move….and yes this baby did make it to the top, and yes it was at 630am! If she can do it YOU can do it! So get your ass up and check out November Project Wednesday, 630am, at Kate Sessions Park.
Just fucking show up! And if this baby shows up (we couldn’t get a verbal, cause she doesn’t speak) please refrain from swearing, apparently they pick up things like that…who knew?!
