Sweaty Sunrises (LAX)

What a week, what a week.  On Wednesday we had the special treat of traverbaling to the November Project West LA Crew and boy am I still sore from burpees.  But really, it was awesome to bring together the tribes on a day off and we couldn’t be happier to work alongside them and start this whole #NP_SoCal takeover.  We even had folks from SD traverbal up because well, it’s Los Angeles and Southern California’s favorite county.  I kid…sort of.

This morning it was great to somewhat beat the heat and take to the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook for morning miles.  Miles plus burpees, step ups, dips, and oh so much more and boom, you’re workout was complete by 7am!

Now out here in LA I know we don’t have the luxury of complaining about the bitter cold or even the humid summers but man, this dry heat is something and it’s coming in hot this weekend.  PLEASE PLEASE HYDRATE!  Just a mom nag.

Good stuff this morning.

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE

Wednesday 7/11– It’s slurpee day at 7/11 and we are going back to Griffith Observatory at 5:27 and/or 6:27am.

Friday 7/13 – Mom and Dad will be away but there will be an amazing musical theatre themed workout at the Old Zoo.  Stay tuned.

North Face Endurance Challenge CA: Sign up.  It’ll be fun.

NP SUMMIT  – Still looking to go?  SIGN UP!  Teams >> handy dandy Google Excel Doc and register >> right here! (Test out “NP20”). Tribes around the world have been hyping this and yes, if you saw our LAX IG Story, it was me, Kait who posted and no, I have not seen Braveheart (which would make more sense if you see the guy running in a kilt like outfit…). I’ll get back to work now.

Fun Fact(s):  The hottest day ever recorded in the city of Los Angeles 113F on September 27, 2010.  Woof.

Do Good LA.
