PRs and pink skies [MTL]

WISCONSIN NOTES:

  • Great showing at the Ghost Race last weekend!
  • PR day #killedit
  • Céline is BOMB 💣
  • The Crate Escape this Friday night (Oct. 27th) at 7pm. Let us know if you want your name in the hat to possibly speak by midnight Thursday – link
  • Next week: “Halloween hangover” – Bring a pumpkin (or other large fruit if you’re feeling fancy) and rock a costume

Hear ye hear ye about a jam-packed week full of November Project fun, community, hugs, swears, and food:

First, on Saturday, a whole slew of NPeeps (patent pending on the name) moseyed their way over to the playing ground that we call the Old Port of Montreal and ran 8 beautiful kilometres of sunshine, music, and the occasional wall sit (and were properly rewarded with a delicious brunch and good company).

Next, this morning, you all rose under a pink sky and defied gravity, ran hills, stretched, did some acro yoga, and generally crushed your morning.

Finally, on Friday, you will come to the Place Jacques Cartier for a 6 59pm start time and embark on a 1-hour storytelling adventure. For official details, head to the facebook event link here. Most important things to know:

  • The theme is Aha Moments/Game Changers. If you have a 5ish minute story that you’d like to share about that one thing that happened to you that flipped the switch, whatever that may mean to you, let us know by Thursday at midnight! All names will go in a hat and 5-6 names will be drawn at random.
  • Wear your runners but dress warm! The hour will consist of short running segments (less than 10 minutes at a time) and standing listening, all outdoors.
  • This event is about community and getting to know one another past the fun, spunky 6am vibes. This is a great chance to learn something new about your tribe members and share an amazing hour together.

Phew, that’s a lot of stuff for one week! You go tribe 👊🏾

Okay, but back to today: Have you met Céline? OF COURSE YOU HAVE. She gives all the hugs and runs all the runs and reps her grassroots gear with pride as she explores this city that we all love so much on foot. She also attended NP during the many weeks where her wrist cast made an appearance too and therefore worked her butt and legs 10x as hard as everyone else because she modified the movements for all of the push-ups and burpees. Just look at this woman! Look at the joy!!

In conclusion, we love Céline and giving her the positivity award this month was a pleasure. And while we’re on the topic of humans that we adore, we love YOU. Stoked for the 3rd instalment of this crazy busy NP week and looking forward to seeing your leftover costumes next week!

SEE YOU FRIDAY!
