This morning we ran The Summit Scramble, consisting of teams of different sizes all trying to reach the highest cumulative total of front-hills. All you need to know is that the Bojans, Adameitzes, Eickhoffs, and Klawiters of the world lost and lost badly, and one team pulled a combined 76 hills. The winning team received the most official, definitely used to be an oar handle, definitely not a stick that fell from a tree in the middle of the workout, positivity award that they got to take home.
Yeah, yeah, yeah Chris–I get it. I missed out. My #FIMO is off the charts, tell me about what’s next! Did you say #WOahMAN!?!?
Oh. I said #WOahMAN.
Yes. It’s true. We’re doing it again. Something new. Something a little crazy. Something we’re all bound to love. We’re rolling out a series called #NP_AfteR_dArk. A series of workouts (that will be announced a few weeks, days, or sometimes even hours) before they occur, that will be wacky and weird, and take place in the night time. They’ll most likely be followed by an adult beverage or two before we all head home. We are rolling out this series the only way we know how…with a #WOahMAN Monday night at 10pm.
That’s right–this coming Monday’s #destinationDeck will actually be the FIRST OF TWO workouts hosted by November Project Boston on that day. Monday morning, we’re right outside of 125 Summer St, Boston, MA in the Financial District. Monday evening we’ll meet at Corey Hill Outlook (our typical Friday spot) at 10pm. We’ll then run a full #WOahMAN–wut? read this about the first one or keep reading:
What’s a #WOahMAN?! It’s a workout that consists of the following.
Start at the fire hydrant
Run from the top of Summit to Harvard Stadium
Complete a full tour from section 37 to section 1
Run from Harvard Stadium to the top of Summit Ave.
Do 25 burpees
Run 1 Full Hill (front side & back side)
Do 25 more burpees
Run 2nd Full Hill (front side & back side)
Finish at the fire hydrant
The only difference with the #WOahMAN coming up Monday night, is that THIS one won’t reeeally end at the fire hydrant. It will end at Publick House in Brookline, MA (don’t worry, they’re open til 2AM).
See you all Monday… twice.
Much Love,
– C. Payne
