#WOahMAN

#WOahMAN. Tired of MAN races? Iron Man, Timber Man, FrogMan… Why not the ironWoman? TimberGirl, or LadyFrog? Here at NP we pride ourselves on empowering people of all ages, shapes, and sizes to take control of their own physical health, so we wanted to put together a race that embodied all the badassity of a week’s worth of November Project and decided to name it appropriately, the #WOahMAN.

Is it “Woah, man…”?

Is it “Woman”?

Is it, “Woah man, that woman is badass AF!”??

You decide. But probably all 3. Here in Boston we’re fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the strongest, badass ladies around, and we don’t take racing them lightly.

On to the race… What is it?! An #NPTriathlon?!

What does that mean?! Welp. It’s going to embody a piece of each day of the week we have here in Boston. MWF. Way more specific details will be coming soon. All you need to know now is:

The START is Summit Ave.  (run, ride, or drive there and leave shit you need later).

We’ll RUN to Harvard Stadium (2.1 miles)

STAIRS at the stadium (full or half tour, depending on your speed)

We’ll RUN back to Summit Ave. (2.1 miles)

FINISH with the Friday morning hills on Summit Ave. (which will begin at 6:30am)

Yes, it’s going to be dark and early.  Yes, it’s spontaneous and weird.  And Yes, you want to be there.

We’re working hard to get the one, the only, the Big Papi to November Project in Boston.  Get your social meeeeedz skills out, hit him on twitter and IG @davidortiz and remind him that fitness is free at NP.  We heard he’s looking for a new club to play with.  He’s cool AF and so is NP.  Anyone can buy a RedSox jersey but you gotta #JustShowUp to get #grassrootsgear.  #34 is ours, just like this is our fuckin’ city.  Get on it people.

Today we ran #PRHills…three full hills as fast as possible.  Fast as fuck.  Many people PR’d today and some badass folks took home new #PRDots.  Everyone can, should, will record your times from this morning in the tracker here.
