NPMSP – When Can We Come Back?

Are you all good?  Decent?  Doing kinda okay?  Wherever you are at, we are here for you!

Here we are, in the middle of Minnesota’s 4-week Dial Back (MN Emergency Executive Order 20-99), but we want to keep you updated on our plans for November Project MSP moving forward.  There’s a lot here, so give yourself some time to read this through, click the links (they links matter, don’t just skim), and digest the content fully.   read more

The Bridges of Hennepin and Ramsey Counties

This summer’s hottest workout craze is running bridges. Every couple of weeks you’re going to see a post from us about running bridges. Your challenge is that during the remainder of the week (Monday-Sunday), you get yourself to the bridge (walk, run, bike, scoot, etc) and then run yourself over the bridge and back. Real cool cats will pick out a bridge a day and knock them out systematically. Wild cats will maybe split them up into two sets and grab them at their leisure. Some of you kittens might even tackle them all at once. However you do it, do it. You prize is exploring the world around you on your own two feet (or a unicycle or whatever). read more

TAG – We’re It! – MSP

The pandemic continues and the guidance from the governor still limits outside social gatherings to 25 people or fewer.  So for now, we still love to see you pushing yourself, running, burpeeing, whatever, and staying fast and fit.  We will be back together again.  Eventually.  To help prepare for that eventuality, sign the new waiver.  And when we get back together, we want to make sure everyone is looking fresh.  We haven’t tagged shirts in a long time.  You know why.  Let’s fix that. read more

Minnesota – United

We are all living through a profound period of change.  We are living through a global pandemic and social unrest following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others.  November Project- Minneapolis has a role to play in fighting the racism that exists here, and we will work to be a stronger, more inclusive, and welcoming part of the Minneapolis and St. Paul community. read more

Welcome to the April Virtual Attendance Challenge

Starting today, right now, this very moment, November Project MSP is starting a month long attendance challenge. We are all holed up in isolation and if you’re anything like me, it is getting tough to kick myself out of bed to go workout by myself. So we’re here to help.

There are nine official November Project MSP workouts in April. Nine opportunities to join into the excitement with all 52 November Project cities around the globe. Collectively we are the greatest league in the world still putting on workouts in our own spaces, and you’re all a part of that, and we want to recognize your efforts. We want to reward you for going to bed early and waking up before the sun and putting in the work to make this work (or maybe you are waking up at 10 am and getting your workout in sometime before the sun goes back down – WHATEVER – we are just glad you’re there, doing your thing!). read more

Attendance Challenge and Week of Wonder (WOW!)

A couple of quick notes about some of the upcoming events around town.

Attendance Challenge

The Attendance Challenge works like this:
There is a big old attendance chart. Every time you show up, you get to check off/add a sticker/mark up the attendance chart. The challenge will run for every workout between tomorrow (November 1st) and our 6th birthday (January 25th). Throughout the challenge there will be awards and prizes for folks that show up the most, and some random prizes for just showing up that day. So keep showing up. read more

State of the Community – NPMSP

For the last couple of weeks Nat (AKA Natty Ice, Nat the Great, St. Paul’s Biggest Fan, Sis) and I were on a mission to collect your feedback on what November Project means to you, and how November Project Minneapolis – St. Paul can be an ever better place to #JustShowUp.

Comments and concerns were wide ranging, but mostly clustered around three different topics. read more
