Let’s be honest, some days it can be really hard to see the good. There are some days when the shitty news just keeps coming and you fight through the day hoping that at some point it’ll turn around. It is on those days the most when we need to trust in the power of the good, the power of community, the power of positive thought to help hold us up when we are at our lowest. It is the time when we need to embrace one another and focus on the strength that we each have to turn someone else’s day around with a caring hug and a friendly smile.
We never truly know what our neighbor is going through but I do know that each one of us holds the power to make a difference in another person’s day. I believe it is because of this that November Project is what it is. We care for each other, we look out for each other, we give unconditionally to each other…we are a community.
Never underestimate what your high 5, words of encouragement, good morning, hug, or smile could mean to someone.
Thank you for showing up for one another each and every morning! Crushing hills, braving the weather, smiling all the way!
