Why Mondays Are Now Your Favorite Weekday (SF)

I used to hate Mondays. I would wait until the very last minute to crawl out of bed and start the dreaded work week. Don’t get me wrong, I still hate starting the work week. My whole life, I thought getting older meant enjoying your job more. But what does it mean for those of us who still have the mindset of a 12 year old, therefore never aging?

It means you should probably start your Monday with leap frog relay races. It means you should probably jump up and down to the most ridiculous feel good-bubblegum-pop-teenage girl song and laugh at jokes that make no sense. It means you should probably roll around in the grass and dirt like a dog and call it a workout.DSC_0034

So for all the grown children out there, the ones who struggle to walk through the front door of their workplace because the weather is too nice to be inside, the ones who still eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch, and the ones who say innappropriate things during conference calls because they think they are on mute..but are not; November Project Mondays will be your new favorite day. It’s time you all just show up.
