This past weekend was fucking nuts. Not only did we have 50+ running in the MCM, we had another 100+ cheering, hugging, laughing, crying (Kerry), and doing what we do: supporting each other. It’s crazy to see how far, how close, how insane this group has become over the past two years.
This Wednesday we’re going up. We’re turning in our 1-year limited warranty for our #TerribleTwos. This past year we did a lot of growing up. We hit 500, we brought on a non-bearded/non-balding co-leader (who is pretty alright), we stormed Capitol Hills, we spoke with a dude named Ted, all while staying true to our core.
At this core, it’s all about fierce, firey, passionate community. A community that supports you when you’re down, and pushes when you’re up. A community that hugs you in the rain, and rubs your shoulders in the snow. These basic ingredients (along with this shit not costing a dime), will be at forefront of NP DC through our second, third, 100th birthday. And let’s cheers to that.
So bring out your birthday hats, Markham put on your birthday suit (or don’t), and let’s have a fucking ball this Wednesday. Bring one new person who doesn’t give a shit it’s our second birthday and let’s show them what we’re all about…cause it’s pretty damn cool.

- Wednesday 5:30/6:30 am: It’s our Birthday. #NP2YR. Come decked in bday hats and gear. ALSO, announcement of #BetterThanBedtime Theme.
- Wednesday night: 7:00 Sauf house. #NP2YR Ball.
- Friday 6:30 am: Congressional Cementary Ninja Halloween. All black, nothing but eyeballs.
