I knew it was going to be cold, I knew that there was going to be a ton of fresh snow on the ground, I knew I was going to be sore from this and other workouts, but HOT DAMN I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE FUN.
There is something about a fresh dump of snow that makes me excited and gleeful. I feel like a kid again stomping through the piles of snow and rolling around in them. It certainly helps when you look at the forecast ahead of time and can layer properly (need help with layering? Check out this blog https://november-project.com/layering/ – next week is going to be super cold so this is important). Plus those extra clothes lets us do things like snow angels! If they don’t make you feel like a kid again then I don’t know what will. Thank you for playing along with that spontaneous idea this morning. The ground was littered with beautiful designs!!
A special shout out to everyone that helped with clearing the steps this morning. Chris with his broom and everyone else with their feet. Just as 6am rolled around we finished the last few steps and that would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the help of all of those feet sweepers. Thank you for helping to make sure everyone had an enjoyable morning.
I hope that the City of Edmonton staff came around, later in the morning, to clear the snow and thought “wait, why is this already done and why are their so many snow angels in the ground.” Alternatively I hope they thought “Looks like November Project had some fun this morning.” I’m pretty sure the latter is more probable. Have a great rest of your weds and…
Keep being awesome,
