WISCONSIN NOTES:
- This morning we shot Nerds vs. Jocks themed #yearbookphotos. To be released worldwide on June 6th. #feelhype
- This morning we learned fun facts. #feelsomuchhype
- This morning we got further excited about NP5UMMIT coming up June 9th – 11th in Boston. #feeltheabsolutemosthype
What a swell day to be alive and to bounce around the Old Port wearing suspenders and baseball caps.
Our first Yearbook Photos session was a raging success thanks to Savannah, who always has our backs (and makes our fronts look hella good). The pictures will be officially dropped on June 6th along with the yearbook photos of all 40+ other November Project tribes in this wonderful world of ours. But let me tell ya, from a first pass looking at these pictures, we look damn good. I mean, full-on geeks and weirdos for having outdoor adult costumed photo shoots, but damn good.
In case you missed the fun facts shared this morning, here they are: (note: for full effect you must sing “Wednesday the science way” in a nerdy voice to the tune of “Bill Nye the science guy” in your head between each fact as per this morning’s bounce)
- Aztects used the term “ayotochtli” to refer to armadillos. …Which directly translates to “turtle-rabbit”. [<– but were they wrong?]
- The word “atom” comes from Greek and it means “unable to cut,” although we now know that atoms can in fact be split!
- Babies only blink 1-2 times per minute, slowly increasing as they age.
- Pope Francis used to be a nightclub bouncer. [Whaddup?!]
- In Thai, the number 5 is pronounced “ha” so Thai folks text 555 to mean “hahaha”
In other news, we explored a new part of our playground today and the view ain’t so bad.

…partly due to the sunrise, partly due to the biodome and bridge, and 100% due to these beautiful humans. Happy Wednesday tribe!
