PR Wednesday

It’s the first Wednesday of the month so naturally we meet up at the Capitol building at 6:25am. Every first Wednesday we run the same workout for time. A series of exercises to get us moving along with the goal of being better than last month. After the hellos, high-fives, and hugs, we were off on the warm-up before the storm of a workout.
With 2 short loops to make up a 1/2 mile warm-up around the front of the Capitol, we were ready to tackle PR Wednesday. PR Wednesday consist of 4 items: 20 jumping jacks, 20 push-ups, and 20 sit-ups followed by a quick out and back sprint. This series is completed 4 times for a total time.
Today’s group started out strong but co-leader Chris basically kicked everyone’s asses without cheating (questionable since he wrote the write-up). Here are the numbers for today:

Cory – 7:53
Steph – 8:00
David – 8:23
Juan – 8:30
After the workout the group finished the day off with a 1-mile cool down around the Capitol Park & Building before starting the rest of the day.
