Oh hey there friends, it’s me again
The one who speaks in rhyme
Apologies for the long hiatus
But I simply haven’t had the time
With the arrival of the tiny human
Perhaps NP YOW’s youngest member
I’m lucky if brushing my teeth
Is a task that I remember
But we heard today was a big event,
The one we call “PR”
The day when we see just how high
We can really set that bar
Though we had hoped to attend in person,
Turns out it’s not so easy
To get out of the house in time
When an infant feels quite queasy
With both co-leaders out of commission
We needed a slight rearrangement
Thankfully André stepped right up
(Since Alfie had a prior engagement)
With temperature low and humidity high
Emerged only the most #weatherproof
Only six brave souls who did show up
And not even a single floof!

To Rennie – if you’re reading this
We promise… it only gets better from here
With today’s PR day in the books
It’s clear, all six of you have won
If you can make running hills in the rain
Really look like so much fun
