Rarely does leadership encourage the tribe to bring anything but themselves to a workout. We thought it would be fun to change it up a little, and add a additional weight challenge to the Wednesday workout this week. Thus, we requested but did not require that tribe members wear a backpack to the workout – fill said pack (ruck, if you will) with as much or as little weight as you’d like, think bricks, t-shirts, a bag of apples- whatever suits your fancy!
We gathered with friends and soon to be friends as always at The Steps at 6:25 a.m. Some with rucks, some without. The fire-drill workout was set to include all- run the steps – when you hear the bell – have ruck – 6 push-up or 6 squats alternating – no ruck – 12 of each the same.
The tribe was sweaty yesterday morning! We all worked hard together to get those steps and ourselves good, wet and ready for the day ahead! Thanks to all of you who came out and participated.
We had 8 birthdays to celebrate and hope you all had fab specials days!
Special thanks from myself to the tribe for all the positive support as a small group of us headed up to Runners World HQ for the day to takeover their IG, run, play and also do some serious work up in Bethlehem post workout. We couldn’t have started our day off in any other way with a better more incredible group of people! Stay tuned for what is to come…
See y’all tomorrow at Lemon Hill for a twist on the usual!
