Old School with a Twist

Today’s workout was a twist on our old-school deck workout. Partnering up, we completed a deck and a half of pushup and sit ups while running up a grassy knoll and visiting our dear friend Emily Murphy.

The deck workout was so old school that I even forgot how many reps an ace garnered. And not just once, twice! First I shorted my crew by what I thought was 2 pushups asking for 11 reps when I flipped the first ace. We made those 2 up when I realized my mistake the next time when I corrected it with another mistake by calling for 13 pushups when an ace was once again flipped. Finally I flipped a third ace and called the correct number 14. I guess that just means that we need to do deck workouts more often.

For those who were unable to run today, great job on completing a deck and a half worth of pushups and sit ups. I guessing you may feel it tomorrow!
