Ok, maybe there weren’t any neanderthals bouncing with us this morning but in my need for alliteration it felt a more appropriate term than numbnuts! Then again, maybe using both neanderthals and numbnuts to describe today’s workout is apropos. This morning was all about strength and grit. You needed to get stubborn, dig deep, and push yourself to grind out and conquer the lower bowl/upper bowl section sprint. You needed to channel your inner neanderthal to survive Commonwealth Stair Intervals. As you were panting/blacking out/dry heaving/seeing stars & catching your breath at the top, you may have also been wondering, who’s the numbnut that designed this workout?!
