IT’S HERE.

I feel like we’ve been hyping #5UMMIT for awhile now, and it’s actually here. IT’S TIME GUYS! AHHHHH!!

Ok. Ok. Hold on. Simmer down for just a few seconds while we get some housekeeping WiscoNotes out of the way.

FRIDAY MORNING’s Workout is NOT NORMAL
Location: Harvard Stadium
Time: 6:00am
Number of People: 1000? 1500? 2000?!? You decide. Bring your friends. Bring your mom.
Parking: Plan to park NOT at Harvard Stadium. Not sure where? Click here. There will be LOTS of people from out of town that have no idea what’s going on, why, or where. Harvard is also hosting the Special Olympics over the weekend and the less we’re in the way, the better as they’ll be setting up in the morning. They have graciously allowed us to use the stadium, but have asked that we’re in and out quickly, and we can all do our part to be good stewards of the stadium.

Now that THATs out of the way. GET FUCKIN EXCITED AGAIN!!!!

People RIGHT NOW all around the world are packing bags, boarding planes, forgetting their passports, driving back home to get their passports, picking up friends, and road-tripping their asses to Boston. Yes. They’re all coming here.

We talk a lot of shit here. “Boston is the best. DC ain’t shit. SF ain’t got nothin. Philly has a tribe?”, but I recently heard my new favorite saying regarding ‘which city is best’ from Jen O’Meara… “The best November Project city is the one you’re in that morning,” and it couldn’t be more true.

The best part about Summit is that it’s not just about our tribe. It’s about the global movement. You get to meet folks from Baltimore and Iceland, you get to race against badasses from San Diego and Winnipeg, you get to party with fools from Chicago and Brooklyn. You get a glimpse into what this movement looks like on a global scale and make friends from around the world. Summit is in our city this year, so do your part. Be gracious hosts, if you see someone who’s lost show ’em the way, if you find someone beer-less at the party, grab ’em a tallboy. These next few days are about building community, racing hard, and having the time of your life. Hug lots of strangers, make tons of new friends, show them all what our favorite parts of this movement, this city, this goofball salad are all about. The point of Summit is to connect with people from all walks of life over a common interest and love of movement. So

GO.

FUCKING.

GET IT.

We’ll see you Friday morning bright and early at (the normally wifi stealing time of) 6:00am for the most EPIC workout Harvard Stadium has ever seen. Don’t miss it. Don’t miss out. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. We’ll see you there.

Much Love,
– C. Payne
