Chaos may refer to any state of confusion or disorder. It may also refer to randomness or a lack of intelligible pattern or combination. When combined with the word lap, it will always and forever refer to 200 people sprinting around Meridian Hill Park in an effort to be the first one back to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. Like adults do. They’ll clip each other’s heels, figure out that “CORNER” should be yelled at the bottom of the park to avoid full on collision (trial and error) and yes, there will be blood.
(But it’s cool, the tribe is first aid qualified and #TheTribeHealsBodyAndSoul)
So back to CHAOS. The cool, (super meta – tell me if I’m using that right) thing about today’s workout is that even though today’s workout was about chaos, this morning will most likely be the least chaotic thing that happens today. We can go to bed Sunday night, resting assured that we’ll rise and grind and take in some hills for breakfast the next morning. We know we have a place to go to start the week right (READ: SWEATY and FULL of HUGS). We can count on our friends to be there; we can count on new faces, and on growing our community. So much of everything else on a Monday can feel out of your control. But this, this free Rock, Paper, Scissor game with your friends, this chaotic sprint to get faster and stronger… This, we can count on. Rinse and repeat for Wednesday and Friday. Cause busy and chaotic days can turn into busy and chaotic weeks, and you might need something to bring you back to Earth on Wednesday, or get your weekend started right. This shit is good. Really good.
WILD LOVE.
