ICE ICE BABY

It happened! For the first time in November Project Ottawa history we made history. Actually this is a lie we have made a lot of history over the past 54 workouts, endless coffee gatherings, social events, cheer stations and connections.  We skated, lunged, pirouetted and completed star jumps on skates.

This morning was breathtaking. There were probably numerous things that created these AWEwakening moments.  But here are a couple of moments that can inform anyone who hit snooze this morning what you missed out on.

ICE ICE BABY

First skate of the season for some

It was the last day of Bridgemonth, 5 weeks was way too short. Are we right or are we right?

Don’t try to take the corners too fast on skates

Pushing a friend on skates is much easier than skating yourself

April 4th will be our FIRST EVER STADIUM WORKOUT

We believe what Bridgemonth has given to us and hopefully to you is a true and deep appreciation for our city.  This city that has so many more streets, pedestrian walkways, alleys, stairs and stadiums to explore. So here’s to exploring Ottawa with you next Wednesday and every Wednesday after that.

Here’s to bringing soles together,

Lauren and Liz
