Love NP? Gimme Some Skin!

Notes From the Editor:

Amy DK  is a longstanding member of November Project Chicago. Beginning her journey just over two years ago, Amy has never missed an opportunity to show how much the entire November Project community means to her. She loves us SO MUCH that she has donated one of her organs to recruit more people. Yes, she is that BAD-ASS! Now it’s our turn to show our gratitude for this wonder-full woman. Amy, you are amy-azing. You are so much more than amy-eer mortal. You literally can’t do amything wrong. Don’t think we have amy more puns? When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s Amyore! Ok, ok, we’re done. With no further ado, Amy take it away! read more

PR Day, a New Beginning, and Overdue Acknowledgments

Friday, April 27th, 2018. Chicago, IL.

Editor’s Notes:

On this week’s edition of the NP CHInsider (we’re accepting recommendations for a new name) we’re excited to have David [Dayved] Tran share his story of finding the Tribe, thinking we’re a bunch of wackos, re-affirming that we’re a bunch of wackos, and finally deciding that he too is wacko enough to have a ridiculous amount of fun sweating his tiny little T-Rex arms off with us multiple times a week all year long. With no further adieu, David Tran. read more

WISCONSIN NOTES:

The locations were organized into two Conferences – Uptown Funk and Humble Brags.  Uptown Funk had the North Side and Downtown Regions, while Humble Brags had the South Side and West Side Regions.  Each Region had eight locations, seeded based on your input, that were pitted against each other in a series of head-to-head match-ups. read more

Leader’s Notes: Gender discrimination is nothing new and has been prevalent in cultures around the globe for centuries. Thankfully, as the human race has grown so too have we grown more accepting and supportive of one another regardless of our race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or otherwise. However, it is still too often that we are reminded that discrimination and the unacceptable judgments and actions that follow continue to plague us. read more
