A true test of patience [MTL]

WISCONSIN NOTES:

  • Our first parkade workout
  • Train was never-ending: 20 minutes of waiting 😉
  • First week of Winter Recruitment challenge. Bring those friends and family members y’all!

What to say of our workout this morning? It was our first ever semi-indoor parkade workout at November Project Montréal! Hope you enjoyed it. We try to keep it new and fresh every week and we thought that a workout within the open-aired parking garage would give us an added challenge. The ramp up to the second level was a personal favourite. Just the right incline to get the legs worked up and add that extra spice to our mornings. You guys really crushed it this morning considering a part of the group was stuck behind the never-ending train (20 minutes) and couldn’t join the fun. This tested your patience and weatherproofness. You’ve passed the test 🙂

We spoke about Goals for 2018 last week…and this week was the first week of maintaining those goals and becoming more and more weatherproof. Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality. The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You’ll also quickly spot the distractions that can, so easily, lead you astray.

By you showing up this morning, you committed to cheering the shit out of your fellow tribe members as they continue to concentrate their efforts and reach whatever goal they are working on! I hope the weekly workouts help you maintain and attain those future goals you have set. Your personal cheer squad is here every week to cheer you on!

Last but not least, this was week 1 of the 2018 Winter Recruitment Challenge. We have really cool gifts and prizes for you so don’t forget to spread the word and bring your friends, family members, dogs, cats, etc. – the more the merrier. This tribe would not be what it is without every single one of you. So, why don’t we share the love to the most people we know. Your homework for next week is to write down 5 names of people that have never come to NP Montréal and recruit them over the next 7 days to come to next week’s workout. It will be totally worth it.

We bid you a marvellous week and… keep up with those goals for 2018. You rock!
