Who Are We? (SF)

This morning NPSF teamed up with Back On My Feet SF and had an amazing morning. Pete Roller, longtime NPSF and NP Philly member and BOMF member wrote a guest blog for us today…
I have two running families –  NP and Back on My Feet. Until this morning, they had never formally met.

Both of my families meet before dawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Both of my families like love to hug.
Both of my families start their morning with a group rally and cheer.
Both of my families like to run, walk, and plank around while encouraging and catching up on each other’s lives.
Both of my families share their collective accomplishments when they’re finished.

Yet, I was nervous about the introduction! What if they didn’t get along? What if they couldn’t find anything in common? What if one family could plank longer than the other?

That was silly. My families loved each other. We hugged each other, ran together, cheered together, dodged Sycamore trees together, slid down the random slide together and grinned together. Unconditional energy and fun. This morning was perfect.

Or better, join us for a run one morning soon 🙂 This sh*t is good, and it’s even greater when we share it.
