Whatif the wind tears up my kite?
Whatif they start a war?
Whatif my parents get divorced?
Whatif the bus is late?
Whatif my teeth don’t grow in straight?
Whatif I tear my pants?
Whatif I never learn to dance?
Everything seems swell, and then
The nighttime Whatifs strike again!”

 

What if I’m not fast enough?

What if no one says hi to me?

What if I don’t fit in with the tribe?

What if this shit’s not really free?

What if I fall flat on my face?

What if I don’t win the race?

What if I can’t do an exercise?

These WhatIfs are bullshit

They just don’t hold weight

You showed up this morning

And that shit was GREAT!
