I don’t know why today, in particular, I paid attention to a few things…
1- Several of you said “It’s pretty nice out.” It was like -12C and -20C with the windchill. We are THIS deep into winter.
2- Sarah and I are the same size. It made doing hoisty J’s so much easier. We’re both longtime NPers. How have we not noticed this in the many years before this one?
3- Some of us really showed up for the hugs today. That was nice.
4- I forgot to charge the battery for my gloves today and didn’t notice until I got to the hill. With extra heavy outer mitts, I was ok. The Mexico trip worked. 😉
5- Rob is not as heavy as I anticipated. He did tricep dips on my knees while I did a tree sit. I assumed I’d collapse. I didn’t.
6- Balkar’s light is REALLY bright.
Sometimes I pay extra attention to things that are normal for NP; today, these things just stuck out to me.
