Waiting for Monday? (YEG)

Not sure what Nadim was doing this morning but it looks like he took the photo upside down…just flip your computer upside down and find yourself…or don’t bother…its also really dark too. Can’t win them all I guess…

Ok…on to the real blog post now…

I don’t know about you but it feels like this week just flew by and yet at the same time feels like ages ago since I was running 50km through the mountains.

I wonder why that happens? — like when it feels like you’ve been away forever but when you’re home, the beach you’d be doing handstands on only 24 hours previously feels like it is as far away as Mars.

Perhaps this happens because experiences like running ultra marathons and beach vacations don’t happen all that frequently. They are a departure/escape from the normal routine and once you’re home, you settle back into your normal and those experiences feel like distant memories.

The great thing about November Project is that it isn’t infrequent, it can be a part of your normal, and the longest you ever have to wait to rejoin the amazing community is 2 days. Yay for Mondays! (but don’t forget to have an amazing weekend while you’re waiting for Monday to come around).

Oh yeah…also, great job on that hill today – the tribe crushed that breakfast!!
