We went into the shortest month of the year with one of the biggest collabs happening on the banks of the river Charles. The Esplanade association teamed up with us to keep us motivated, warm and fueled while we hit the pavement, grass, docks, turf and bridges in (normally) one of the coldest months of the year.
I often take it for granted how lucky we are to have this prime strip of land that hugs this beautiful city and river. During the summer it’s easy to reap the benefits and views but often during the winter months we forget how lucky we are. Maybe it was the early rising sun or the warmer than usual temps but I took a look around to see some pretty beautiful humans in motion across Storrow drive and it reminded me how amazing this space is. It’s become our playground, our vehicle for fitness, and over the past 4 weeks we’ve been able to explore such a small portion of it to claim it as our own for these 45 min every Monday am.
The people behind organizing this past month got up earlier than the rest of us to make sure the coffee was hot and there’s a place to leave our gear while we galavanted around the park. They reached out to make sure the strip was filled with laughter, smiles, booms and F*cK yeahs! They see the benefit in what we’re creating and want to help out as much as they can. This was only one of the small things that they’ve planned and they’re the ones behind all of the exciting programming that we see all summer long. So give them a follow and if any happenings they’re putting together peak your interest, then show up and support them back! It’s a win – win.
Most importantly this crew reminded us how beautiful this city is. So from all of us here in Boston, thanks you Esplanade Association for keeping this movement growing!!

MONDAY (3/2): Destination deck – all month long – we’re continuing the theme of February and keeping the destination deck in 1 spot all month long. This month we’re bringing it to BOSTON LANDING (near the new balance hq) for our weekly adventures. 6:29am.
