The show starts off to the beat of Neil Diamond’s classic song “Sweet Caroline” in order to get the tribe going. Seeing dozens of beautiful humans touching hands, reaching out and singing out loud: “SO GOOD…SO GOOD….SO GOOD” always works for me. The Encore was even better when Sally chose to come around and made us all humble again 🙂 . It has definitely made week 4 of #dudewheresmycolead? memorable. What made it that much more memorable was the dedication of two lovely tribe members GILLA and FRÉDÉRICK on helping co-lead the tribe and giving us an ass-kicking.

As you may have read in the previous guest blog posts, we’ve been giving each week some special sauce with different co-leads to come help with the week’s workout. It has been so much fun so far. You quickly realize how each and every one of us comes to shape the tribe we have here in Montréal in our own personal way. It also allows me as a tribe leader to really get to know the members of this tribe that much more. I’ve learned so much through numerous facetime chats and laughs, over a few beers at a local pub and exchanging ideas over Google docs.

A great example would be today’s workout, which was strongly inspired by GILLA’s most recent Triathlon success in Mont-Tremblant and FRÉDÉRICK’s upcoming 150km!%&#? ultra marathon in Martinique. Is this guy nuts? I find it so inspiring that we get the chance to work out with these two on a weekly basis. Week in, week out, we never hear a peep out of them about their great accomplishments…but look at them go. We made sure we got the tribe to know about this with a series of lower body warmup exercises from FRÉDÉRICK and a triathlon-sequenced set of drills by GILLA. I believe the tribe will now remember what GILLA and FRÉDÉRICK do with their spare time 🙂
Thanks again for all the love and sweaty hugs you guys bring each week…and I am already looking forward to planning next week’s workout with two new tribe members. I’ll contact you in the upcoming days. Wanna go for beers?
