Super Moon (Ottawa)

Good evening, readers! Apologies for the late post today – hopefully you weren’t waiting on this blog to remind you to stretch out your legs after this morning’s breakfast of stairs and squats and other such fun things. You’re all seasoned pros by now and have presumably mastered the “oh yeah, I’ll totally stretch later when I get home” game plan.

This writer’s bedtime is quickly approaching, but the guilt of letting a Wednesday go by without a blog post is apparently stronger than the level of fatigue said writer is experiencing. Plus, this blog pretty much writes itself once you can think of an interesting topic… cue SUPER MOON.

That’s right, folks. Today brings us the BIGGEST and BRIGHTEST super moon of the year. July’s full moon is also called the Buck Moon as it coincides with bucks growing new/bigger antlers. How cool is that?!

As it turns out, not that cool… even though this Buck Moon is one of the biggest and brightest of the year, Google has informed me that the difference is hardly perceptible to the human eye, so the moon will look pretty much like any other full moon. Womp womp.

Okay, time to turn disappointing/random super moon facts into NP-related inspirational message…

Sometimes we put in the work and the planning to be bigger and brighter, and it still goes unnoticed by those around us. But really, whether people are paying attention or not, the super moon is out there, and it knows how super it is, and the people who matter and are paying attention also know. If you’re reading this, please know that we know how super you are and we are so glad that you are here!

Okay, a bit of a stretch, but it works.

We hope you have a super week. You can be big and bright, even if no one is watching.

Sole-fully,
Rebecca & Becca
