Hello dear friends, some time has passed
Another blog is here at last
Apologies for the slight delay
Writers’ strike… What can we say?
Now here we are, at summer’s mid
Reflecting on great things we did
Perhaps none better than those stairs
(some of our legs are still under repairs)
We’ve pushed our limits with burnouts a plenty
Some peach-themed… we hope not too many
If muscles felt tired and energy got low
We pushed our friends (not literally, though)
We learned more about folks each time we did gather
Especially when faced with a “would you rather?”
For what better way to work through the chest pain
Than asking a friend, “Foo Fighters or Shania Twain?”
We know it can be tough to get out of your beds
So we keep the questions simple – tails or heads?
And if that doesn’t do it, we pick up the pace
And send Pac-Man out to start the chase
We also went cruisin’ and did so in style
(Maybe you got a new picture for your profile?)
Which reminds us of news we ought to say…
Yearbook photos are out TODAY!
Last week you went out and pushed yourselves far
Maybe you dug deep and reached a new PR
Special shout out to Rennie, who now holds the PA
(just please give it back before you go away)
Some weeks we consider getting a bit more rest
Then think to ourselves, “nah, these folks are the best!”
We’re so glad you’re here (you and your dog)
Otherwise nobody would be reading this blog.
