This is a simple blog. Not much going on here. Not much to read into or interpret. No deeper meaning. No inspirational stories. No heartfelt and tear jerking or twerking sagas. Read on.
One can describe this thing called November Project in many ways. Community. Fitness. Family. Friends. Respectful disturbing of the peace. Yahoos. Crazy. Crazy awesome. Life-changing. Good shit. Whatever you call it, it will spice up your life. Spice is what we call anything we throw into a workout that resembles calisthenics. Whether it’s the typical push-ups or the atypical oil rigs (which ironically involve push-ups). It mixes things up. Throws a corkscrew into things. Causes you to adjust and by adjusting makes you better.
November Project IS the spice in your life. The cat is out of the bag (but safely behind the fence and the moat…see above). It WILL be typical. It WILL be atypical. It WILL mix things up and throw in a corkscrew to your physical, mental, emotional, and social life. You should and WILL adjust. And it WILL make you better. The people, the laughs, the smiles. And all it takes is setting that alarm (oh but it’s so early…NO EXCUSES) and maybe introducing yourself to ONE person. From there on out, the benefits are exponential. Opening up that opportunity for yourself, no matter how scary, is the best thing you can do. Ask anyone that has done it.
So enjoy the spice. Tell others about the spice. Do you think the first person to discover basil kept it to themselves? Or salt? Or garlic? What would we do without garlic knots???
What were we talking about? Doesn’t matter. We’ll see you all Monday for another crazy and life-changing week.
DCA OUT.
