small steps forward (Ottawa)

“small steps lead to big changes”, we might not see it today, tomorrow or next week. But, in a year from now, or 5 years from now, how are we going to look back at the changes that we have made as a community for our city, our families and each other.

As we continue to call in, listen and learn we thought this week would be a good time to share an article. You may find it helpful and an insightful resource into a piece of our history that is often not shared.

As we all continue to learn more, our intention is to share, and be open for dialogue. We are grateful to the community of people where individuals have brought forth thoughts, discussions and resources to help us all take small steps forward. Looking forward to hearing more about what you’ve learned, wherever you are in your journey.

Thanks for a great morning, with technical difficulties and all! Everyone moved through smoothly, you don’t really need us anyway! You know the drill 🙂

Here’s to bringing soles together,

Lauren and Liz

  1. Stayed tuned for instructions and some hints for the holiday workout- Canada Day next week. We will meet at 6:29am, leave one another and then come back together for our regular coffee and connect at 7:30am. Truly the best way to start a holiday.
  2. Read a blog from another city
  3. Hand out some virtual hugs or high fives today, or send a message of kindness
