This morning: Y’all threw down pretty hard at the stadium this morning for #PRday, and we’re proud of you! Like parents, admiring the accomplishments of their kiddos. “Gosh, they’ve gotten so big!” “See how strong she is?! And how encouraging he is to his friends?” “Oh gee, we should take some pictures for the scrap book.”
New Records: Good fucking job to everyone, and one giant shout out to the new holder of the Fastest Full Tour by a woman: Leah Eickhoff. The previous record of 21:54 was held by Ildi Gaal. Leah’s time today, and the new record for all women to chase is 20:38. Ever wonder where the records are kept? Wonder no more.
Running of the Fools
It’s been awhile since we got weird on our city, so we decided to throw something together to get all of you out on the town, and inject some positive vibes into this city on a Saturday night. Read on for the most important information. #JustShowUp
Wisconsin notes:
Time: 630pm-?
Meeting Place: David Ortiz Way (Right near Fenway)
Attire: Clothes (yes we have to tell some of you that). But seriously, dress like fools…who run. Figure it out.
The Run: We will run through the streets of Boston in the Fenway area. No more than a 5k, very likely less than a 5k. Bikes are also cool: please be agile, have a light and a helmet. And a lock. (with a key)
After the run: We will venture into a bar. Or several bars in the area to drink like fools* and socialize with the fittest fools around. Let’s get weird.
What to bring:
- YOU.
- All your friends who never go to NP because it’s too early.
- Your ID.
- Money in whatever form you prefer.
- A sharpie marker (you’ll need to keep track of some things throughout the night)
- jokes. All the jokes.
- extra hugs and a good sense of humor
