An Ode to the Parking Garage (YWG)

Wisonconsin Notes:

  • Rhyme Time
  • MEC Race April 2. Be there or be square.

Twas a dark and cold Tuesday many moons passed,

When leadership realized the good weather had passed.

To the garage, we decided – with a grin and a huff,

We’ll see if these tribes people are made of strong stuff.

Throughout the frigid winter it sheltered the storm,

Although we won’t claim that it keeps us very warm.

Burpees, and partners, PRs and supermans,

Many tribes people realized – running they can.

To cap it all of, an award for a fierce tribe lion,

Very deserving today our friend Simon.

And now we move on, with spring in our sights,

But we won’t forget the dark walls and dim light.

Forever in our hearts, and never a hassle,

We’ll return after summer, the cement-wonder mountain castle.
