Days are getting longer, the air is getting warmer, and the tread on your running shoes is getting worn down. This can only mean one thing – It’s racing season! We are right in the thick of it and I can’t tell you how proud we are of all the training you guys have put in preparing for the season.
There are few things we love more than getting out there to either run alongside you or cheer you on as you whiz past.
We have already seen our fair share of first time half or full marathons, triathlons, tough mudders, PRs, and Boston Qualifiers (Go Trevor!) from the tribe and we are only halfway through the racing season!
It doesn’t appear as though it will be slowing down either. This weekend we have several tribe members taking on some pretty epic races. Word on the street is that several of you all are planning to dominate Aravaipa’s Crown King Scramble and I believe that Mr. Aravaipa himself, Jamil, will again be taking on the Barkley Marathon – “The Race That Eats It’s Young.”
So regardless of whether you have already laced up this season or are about to, we couldn’t be more proud of you. We, the tribe, will be cheering for you!
Because we love you all we also coincidentally took a break from PR day this month so as not to mess with your taper and to revamp it a little bit. So get excited for what is in store.
Good luck out there!
WISCONSIN NOTES:
- Sadly, with the end of the spring training we see several of our snowbirds leaving us this week. Mitch (and his camera) who was on loan to us from our sister city Chicago has to return home and soon the Scotts will be taking off to Mississippi to watch their son follow his baseball dreams. Until next season, we will miss you all!
- Monday. Hills. Same time. Same place. 56th Street and Camelback at 6 am.
- Wanderlust. Let Trevor know if you want to volunteer or participate.
Peace, Love and Cacti
– Jackie
