Love. Love. Love. It was all around!
So in preparation to write this blog, I wanted to compare our San Diego Love-fest to the top Love Story of all time. And while Lauren, Ashleigh and my’s story is incredible, it doesn’t quite meet box-office standards. Enter: Google. Well…I find this lovely list: the Top 100 Best Romantic Movies of All Time. Out of movies 1-5, I’d seen and was familiar with only one (#2, Gone With the Wind) – and frankly Scarlett, I just don’t give a damn. Which by the way, was NOT the ‘famous quote’ they had listed. When movie #6 turned out to be Broke Back Mountain, I decided a movie comparison to our workout…may not, well, work out.
X’s and O’s…that’s right! Amidst the rainbow of pink, red and white attire we shed some hugs and kisses on Kate Sessions Park today; and she replied with wet grass and a good ass kicking. What a wonderful relationship we have! McLovin embraced his nickname and soared around the park dressed like cupid. There may have been some unintentional “single leg humping” at station #3. We helped thaw out our brother Dave, from Boston, with a good SD hugging. JD and Natalie scored our MVP capes today because they are AWESOME and we love them. Speaking of LOVE it’s our fearless leader Lauren’s birthday TOMORROW, that’s right, February 13th, TOMORROW, as in the day BEFORE Valentines Day…get at her and send her some loooooove. Way to kill it on the Mini-Hump today tribe, I wouldn’t recommend “killing it” with any other hump-related activities this week, but today, ya done good! I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted. I don’t know if it was all the hugging, the mini humping, the birthday singing, the workout or just an overwhelming influx of my LOVE for all of you! Happy Valentine’s Day San Diego! See ya next week!
