Right now in Providence, it is 72 degrees and sunny. The day has burgeoned into quite the late-summer day, considering how it started. In case you missed it….
This morning was MOIST. It started drizzly, and ended squishy, and then around 6:45, the rain stopped. So it was the kind of day where shutting off the alarm clock is an easy thing to do. Those days though – those are the best days to actually BE at November Project.
To all of you who braved the elements, the fog, the random parking ban, and took on slippery stairs and some decks of cards, kudos. This is the weatherproof mindset that doesn’t only translate to waking up early on a Wednesday to go to NP. It translates into how you tackle life. Obstacle in the way? Cool. Let’s take it on.
Life isn’t always sunny and 65 degrees. Next time it looks shitty outside, or is shitty outside, or you feel shitty about getting out of bed – waking up early and doing something to make you uncomfortable is exactly what you need to change your perspective on things.
And don’t worry – there will be plenty of chances as winter approaches. We’ll be there – and we hope you will too.
