Alrighty so we’ve got some Important Announcements for all y’all so I was told to keep the blog short and concise so that these points are hammered across.
Well that’s not gunna happen.
There is absolutely no way I’m able to contain all the energy from this morning for the rest of the weekend. So we are just going to mix things up a bit and get to the fun and important stuff first and then finish with some weird, absolutely useless nonsense if you feel like sticking around. Don’t tell me if you decide to peace out early, just let me keep thinking that you enjoy reading this and think this is somewhat entertaining…
IMPORTANT STUFF #1: You are all awesome.
IMPORTANT STUFF #2: Starting today we have a new race day. #PRhills will be the second Friday of every month. That’s right, PR Wednesdays are just too good to only enjoy that vibe 12 times a year so we’ve thrown in a race day at the hills. We will race 3 full hills so we can see our improvements each month. This gives each of us a goal to work towards. If you’re not at that point yet, EVEN BETTER, make 3 hills your goal and work up to it! The idea is to do more than you think you can and pushharder than you’ve ever done before. Track your stat’s HERE.
SUPER DUPER IMPORTANT STUFF #3: This is BIG! If you miss this, you miss Monday and live with the #FIMO for the rest of the week. MONDAY WE WILL MEET AT 5:50AM. (Hype this so the slackers who don’t read the blog, wont miss out) Pack light, this will not be the final destination so prepare to move, run, shuffle, crab-walk to a MYSTERY LOCATION. OOOOOOOOOOOO. AHHHHHHHHH. Are you excited yet because I cant fucking wait to find out what this surprise is.

Whether you realized it or not this, we ALL started something this morning. We gave birth, as a tribe, to a new beast. #PRhills will change the way we race hills. Tracking your pace on hills was something that you may or may not have taken seriously. Well those days are over! Now we are going to set goals and prove that this November Project thing and the community we are part of makes us stronger when we PR in November and again the next month and the next one and the next one… you get it.
Its easy to be complacent when we don’t have something to work towards. We may take it easy, not push ourselves or even #notshowup?. Lets promise to never use that hashtag again, cool? Good. Goals are like a salmon ladder, if there is no place to jump next we kinda just hang in the same place. We reach a point and there is nowhere to go. That doesn’t sound too thrilling. From its core, NP started as a group of people looking to push themselves and find out what they are capable of by using the community around them. Stadiums are an obvious example of this. At the end of every month we race ourselves, we show off what we’ve been training for. We keep the workouts flavorful so that we never know what to expect, we just come ready to hug, laugh, get weird and train. The only thing we know is that at the end of the month we race. We race HARD. #PRhills will give us an infinite amount of #SalmonNobs to latch ontoand something to backup all the shit talking that this tribe is about to be thrown down. I already can’t wait for the next #PRhills day!
