This Wednesday is the last Wednesday of the month and you all know what that means…..
PR DAY BABAY!
We asked you to send a message to rogerisyourdadwastaken@gmail.com and to write a 100 word or less submission describing your best/worst/most exhausting PR Day experience. As a little sneak peek of the larger compilation of PR Day memories (memorials?), here is one post we received:
PR day was my introduction to this crazy fun and fascinating bunch of humans called NP! Ashley made me come to my first NP workout in February 2015 but didn’t mention it was PR day. I never was a fast runner and PR day just about killed me. I was the last finisher and had something in my eye so everyone watched me cross the finish line “crying”. I didn’t go back for a year. Now going to PR day makes me realize how far I’ve come, and I have the tribe to thank for that. I never would’ve come back if it weren’t for the unwavering positivity, good energy, and badass-ery I find here. Now PR day ain’t no thing and I only cry when I finish sometimes. I think this is over 100 words.
Keep them coming; we will post the rest as an ***extra*** blog post tomorrow with the announcement of the workout. The writing does not have to be good, although spell check is encouraged, and poems, raps, songs, video submissions, and six-word-stories will be accepted. If you wish to remain anonymous, please write that at the end of your email. Until then, get PR training, and happy Memorial Day!
