The first blog post from your new November Project Baltimore co-leader, Emily Bryson!
WOW. What an electrifying morning.

THANK YOU for showing up and making me feel welcome. It is mutually beneficial, I know. You guys all show up, I get to yell and act like an excited school child (NEWSFLASH…I was), you #earnyourweekend while all your other friends/colleagues/pets are still sleeping. FUCK YEAH.

I am seriously beyond thrilled to be a November Project Baltimore co-leader. I look forward to creating fiery workouts and watching you all get faster and make new friends. In the spirit of community, because that’s why I get out of my bed to get to the workouts on blistery cold mornings, I am going to tell you a few things about my NP life. PLEASE keep introducing yourself to me again and again until I greet you by name. That’s a steep goal but I like challenges. I think that’s why I’m here.
- I started showing up to November Project Boston in the fall of 2012. I flew pretty far under the radar for most of my time in Boston
- I was hooked from the first workout – this community, the FREE and FOREVER part, the quirky characters who were leading this movement, the #worldtakeover goal
- I moved to Baltimore in Nov 2013 – when Nick/Pat/Syd were pledging (unbeknownst to me) and I legit jumped for joy when I found out NP was starting in Baltimore in January 2014
- Nursing schedule didn’t make it easy to be consistent and get to know everyone but by May 2014 I was not flying under the radar anymore
- For the last 2 years I have been scheduling myself at work to be available on at least one day per week because I would turn into a Grinch if I didn’t get my NP
I have some goals for November Project Baltimore but I can’t do them alone so LET’S GET BACK TO THE BASICS:
RECRUIT EVERYONE – LITERALLY E-V-E-R-Y O-N-E. We can’t grow this community alone. HYPE all things November Project. #WORLDTAKEOVER can’t happen unless we all do our part. 10+ life points for anyone who brings a newbie on Wednesday.
RACE EVERYTHING – set goals, sign up for a spring race. That will help motivate you through this winter.
WEAR GRASSROOTS GEAR –wear your tagged gear when you are racing, yogging on the harbor, speedwalking in the mall, travelling on any and all modes of transportation, sitting at your coffee shop, posting up at your local dive. Then make sure you go back to my first point: RECRUIT EVERYONE.
SEE YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WEDNESDAY,
BRYSON
