We understand you’re most likely racing at Rock N Roll, but please move your body with us. Standing around is NOT the way to kick off this weekend. There is a coffee shop with a bathroom within a block of the meeting place.
THE BUS Saturday Post Workout / 8AM Depart City Hall – Load onto one of the FIVE buses provided by November Project and head out to The Westin Lake Las Vegas for the Pool Party and more.

This will be the very first time we’ve done something like this. Plan to turn your phone on airplane mode Bring your shirts to be tagged with the “7” logo. This will be the only spot during the weekend where Grassroots Gear tagging, NP shirts being painted, will take place.
Saturday Racing / 6 PM – 5K race start. If you’re not racing, be ready to cheer and support. Getting to the location for racers & supporters should happen at 5:30PM. See “Cheer Stations” below for exact location to meet and show love for the racers.
Saturday Night – Kesha in concert at Festival Grounds immediately following the 5K. This is going to be hilarious. Plan to yell “Timber” at least 100 times at full volume.
Sunday Morning – Open. We wanted to leave this space open for you to sleep in (crazy, right?), do something touristy, head out into nature, or simply make your way back to the pool.
Sunday Afternoon 4:30 PM – Half and Marathon start. If you’re not racing, be ready to cheer and support. Be at the cheer station by 5PM at the latest. If you arrive at 4PM you’ll see the 10K runners come through too.
Sunday Night November Project Social (MUST RSVP) & Street Art Tours (MUST RSVP) by Zappos, 8PM-Midnight – The Bunkhouse Saloon (Social) & Fremont East Walking Street Art Tours (start & finish from The Bunkhouse Saloon – 8:20PM). Must RSVP here.
Monday Morning – Travel Home.
The Rock ‘N Roll Las Vegas events: 5K (6PM start, Saturday night) and the Half Marathon (4:30PM start, Sunday night). This race attracts over 30,000 runners. Plan to race, hang, & do everything in your NP shirt. Try to meet tons of new people from all over the world throughout the weekend. Use discount code: NOVPROJECT19 which will be good up until 7 days before the race / You can sign up at the expo Thursday-Saturday but the code will not work at that time. You’re welcome to sign up any distance (5K, 10K, 13.1 Miles, 26.2 Miles) but we’re be pushing for 5K on Saturday and Half Marathon on Sunday for the biggest NP participation. After the race on Saturday we’ll go to the Kesha concert, yes you’re reading that correctly, with the mob of other runners from around the world. Expo hours are Thursday 3-6PM, Friday 11AM-7PM, Saturday 9AM-6PM, closed Sunday. Click here for full Rock N Roll info.
Saturday 5K – The start and finish are in the Rock N Roll festival grounds. NP will set up roughly 500 feet away from the start/finish on the same side. Please arrive and look for your people.
Sunday 13.1M – Join us in supporting racers at the corner of E Bridger Ave & S 6th Street / The course map can be found here with an option to print the PDF.
We’re asking all Sunday racers to come out and support on Saturday night for the 5K and for all 5K racers to support on Sunday night for the 10K, Half, and full Marathon runners. We will be in the same zone and we will get loud. This would be a great time to go big! Costumes, giant signs, bells, whistles, wigs, speakers, Twister boards, noise makers, body paint, and whatever else you can think of. We are known to be one of the best groups to pass when racers start to feel the miles getting long and we want Vegas to be our best showing.
NP Co-leaders, active and retired, and the vast majority of NP members will be staying at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa.
The city is huge. The race is huge. Please plan to wear your November Project painted gear as much as you can throughout the entire weekend. Be prepared to explain what this movement is to the many strangers who are in town for the race weekend from all over the world. Word of mouth remains our largest recruiting tool and we’re all ambassadors. Because the weekend has us hopping all over the map, we recommend the use of Uber, Lyft, Cabs, and shared rides throughout the weekend – Renting a car ins’t necessary unless you have a plan to maximize the number of NP’ers in your vehicle. We know this is a once in a lifetime chance to combine racing, seeing new places, and meeting new people, all in Las Vegas, as all 52 cities gather. In the choice of where to stay, where to host our workout, social on Sunday night, and everything else, we were aiming for an experience that gives you a new perspective on Vegas, one that breaks the bachelorette party stereotypes seen in the movies. If you ARE looking for the more naughty/intoxicated/reckless side of Sin City, please disconnect from NP and do not plan to wear your NP swag. We can’t say it enough, this weekend is about getting the movement into the same race, the same space, onto the same pool deck, and to have some great times as one. Please help us make this weekend amazing, safe, and fun for all.
Use the hashtag #NPSUMMIT as you’re getting ready to travel, while on your way, and throughout the weekend. We can’t wait to see you there.
