ANNOUNCEMENTS AFTER YOU READ THIS:
Today, we made a point to acknowledge that on December 10th, 50 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. A special warmup, a special workout, an incredible sunrise, and lots of sweaty hugs left us with another great start to a Wednesday. The day that follows is, for most of us, like any other minus the fact that we kickstarted it with a couple hundred other people: driven, smiling, hips-in hugging, high-fiving, like-minded people. This is what sets us apart from the rest of our workplace, neighborhood, city, and world.
What I’m getting at is this: November Project is a place for positivity. A place for unconventional and unorthodox fitness. A place for DREAMERS. What’s a dreamer, you say? Someone who thinks outside the box. Someone who believes there’s good in everyone. Someone who knows (not thinks) that they can change the world around them. These people are the salt of the city. The spice of life. But the recipe isn’t complete. There’s something missing. Luckily, I don’t have to be a good cook to know what it is. If you don’t #JustShowUp with these couple hundred, the missing ingredient IS YOU. If you do #JustShowUp, I’d like to personally thank you for spicing up my life.
Last point: The spice/salt doesn’t end at 7:30AM. Don’t be picky. Spread that spice, that salt, that LOVE to every bit of your life. If you already do, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you don’t, try it. It will CHANGE YOUR WORLD and the world of those around you.
