That is until Monday.
Hey, daylight savings time – what’s the deal with taking a hour of sleep away from me? “Spring forward” is a positive way of saying less sleep and that doesn’t exactly put an extra spring in my step. We’ve made it through 6 and a half months of dark mornings and next week, after having our first morning picture under the dawn light, you will be shoving us back into darkness. You might argue that you’re giving us Friday…ya, thanks for your generosity* (*note – that should be read with a tone of sarcasm).
According to webexhibits.org:
The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time (called “Summer Time” in many places in the world) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.
Guess they’ve never heard of November Project! We make great use of early morning daylight.
Oh well…guess we can’t really change the fact that Daylight Saving Time exists – or can we? Who are the Daylight Saving Time decision makers, maybe we could petition them?
I guess the whole thing is really inconsequential when you relate it to the November Project Canada tribe – dark, light, warm, cold, wet, dry, windy, icy, snowy, hot – the conditions do not matter because the tribe shows up!
Great job on the stairs/hills/30 rep circuit today.
Congrats to our girl Dee on receiving the positivity award today! Thank you for radiating positivity, joy and love throughout our community!
Friday – Walterdale Hill 6AM
Until next time…SMILE! J
