Interview with an Infant (Ottawa)

Greetings, YOWzers!

Our youngest NP member had a great time this morning and was so inspired by all of you that she has decided to kick start a career in journalism. Please read on for what we assume is a 3 month old’s perspective on today’s PR day…

Hi everyone! How are those legs feeling? Strong? Shaky? Sore? Mine are feeling great! It feels like I could practically stand on them. Oh, wait – no, I definitely can’t do that yet. Maybe in a few more months. Luckily my mom carries me around anyway (sucker) so I don’t have to worry about that quite yet. Anyway, I hope your legs are feeling great, but if they’re not, I highly recommend having someone carry you around. Highly effective mode of transportation… especially with the price of gas these days, amirite?!

For those of you who got a PR today, way to go!! For those of you who made it up and down any number of flights of stairs, I commend you just the same. Personally, I find all your gross motor skills to be quite impressive. As you can tell by this post, my fine motor skills are highly advanced, the whole walking thing still eludes me though. But I sure hope to be able to walk/run those stairs with all of you one day!

Anyway, it’s almost time for my third breakfast, or maybe it’s first lunch… hard to say … so I will have to wrap up this post for today. I’m very excited to be a part of this awesome community. I have already had the chance to meet some of you, get carried around by some of you (thanks!), and have my photograph taken with you. I look forward to many more beautiful mornings together.
