This morning was amazing. 40 beautiful bodies jumped, sprinted, and burpee-ed under a gorgeous sunrise. The tribe was fierce and the vibe was right. Kudos to everyone for working hard and smiling big! More importantly, kudos for some of the most creative interpretive huckle buckle inspirations that this world was ever graced with. Some honourable mentions include Gilla’s creative floppy fish, and Will being stepped on as a human dance floor. That’s true commitment if we ever did see it. As the sun rises later and the mornings become cooler, it’s the warm (and absurd) dance moves that will keep us waking up and coming to this crazy adventure that we call November Project.

Alright folks, there are a butt-ton of announcements and dates to keep track of, so whip out those shiny agendas and get on top of all of the upcoming cool shit.
- Social/community update: You are probably already on the November Project Montréal facebook page, but now, you should hop over and join our new facebook social group! As we mentioned this morning, this group is to help connect our members on all the other days and times of the week! Thinking of heading out of town for a hike and looking for some pals to join you? Put it on the group! Want to know the best yoga studio for stretching out those post-hill hammies? Put it on the group! Looking to have a quick 5 à 7 and watch a hockey game? Group it uuuup!
- Buy a buff, get buff: It’s that simple. But seriously. Every year, the high lords of NP bestow upon the 43 November Project tribes of the world a fresh design for you to wear with pride. This year’s buffs are being ordered now! $5 a pop, follow the link here to order yours by Oct 14th. Don’t miss the chance to own a magical piece of gear that is a headband one second, a neck warmer the next, and when all else fails and winter hits, a full face cover.

- Ghost race – Saturday Oct 21st at 9 29am: 15 cities across North America are getting in on this 8k virtual run! What does that mean? It means that from October 13th-22nd you can run the most beautiful route in our amazing city and be a part of a global movement! We will be doing a November Project Montréal activation on Saturday October 21st, starting at 9 29am. The plan is to do the 8k run with some NP-style flavour mixed in, then hang out and munch. ALL paces are invited! If this is your first time ever doing 8k, #FuckYeah. If 8k is peanuts for you, also #FuckYeah. Don’t you dare let the number scare you from accomplishing something amazing. Plus, there will be a tasty surprise at the end! More details/FB event to come, but for the meantime, below is a picture of the route and sign up by downloading the Strava app and following this link! Facebook event to come.

- Crate escape – Friday Oct 27th at 6 59pm: Join us for an evening that blends fitness and storytelling. In the coming weeks, we will release a theme for the evening, then anyone who feels inspired to do so will have the opportunity to put their name in a hat. The night of the event, we will draw a name from the hat, hand said named person a crate, and follow them on a short (1km or less) run to the spot of their choosing, at which point they will stand on the crate and share their story with the tribe. This is an opportunity to share a story that tells something about yourself, to inspire the group, or to make us laugh/cry/feel however you deem fit. Next, we pick a new name and repeat. After about an hour of storytelling and brief runs, we will have a chance to hang out at a local resto/bar, newly connected. Facebook event to come.
- Homework for next week: Bring a die (or many dice if you have!) to the workout next week.
- Most important takeaway from this never-ending blog post: Keep laughing, smiling, and having friend-on-friend dance-offs. All of the love to you amazing, powerful people.
