WISCONSIN NOTES/NOTES DU WISCONSIN:
- This gorgeous city that we call home turned 375 today, despite not looking a day over 374.
- Justin Trudeau was 100 metres from us and didn’t even come do a single push-up. How rude.
- Pop-up workout (featuring donuts/coffee and prizes) at Maison de la Course Griffintown this Saturday at 9:29am
- NP Summit June 9th-11th. Let us know if you need help finding a ride or accommodations. Details here.
- Heather is POSITIVE.
- Next week is yearbook photos – Nerds vs. Jocks edition so dress accordingly.
HAPPY FECKIN’ BIRTHDAY VILLE DE MONTREAL, YOU BEAUTIFUL MAGNIFICENT CREATURE.
Today we celebrated you, in all your glory, by doing 375 reps of approximately everything. Although our arms are now too jello to raise our glasses to you, please imagine figurative raising. We’ll try again tomorrow when sensation has returned. On a related note, whose idea was it to run a 375 metres sprint…twice? And yet, somehow all of these beautiful people still had smiles on their faces. Now that’s the good stuff.

Speaking of smiles and hard-working badassery, this morning we had visitors from two tribes! Christina and Jacques repped NP Winnipeg and Kass made her big move from Victoria all the way to Montreal! We KNOW the rest of you want this tag, so keep the #traverbals coming!

This week we gave out the positivity award for the very first time. This award goes to someone who shows up week after week, with the biggest smile on their face, and the tightest of hugs in their arms. This (extremely deserving) recipient is Heather. Heather is not only an amazing sailor and runner, but she is also a connector. Her attitude is infectious and she has a way of making everyone she talks to feel like the most important person in the world. Heather is excited for you along the way of every journey and every goal you’ve crushed, just like we are excited for her as she treks along, over 200 days into a challenge of sweating every day for a full year. Yup, she’s an animal.

Lastly, next week we’re shooting yearbook photos. Our chosen theme is Nerds vs. Jocks so prepare your taped-up glasses and your pocket-protector or dust off your old gymnastic ribbon and baseball bat, then pop on your favourite tagged NP shirt, and practice that beautiful smile of yours. Check it for some inspiration and to get a better idea of what yearbook photos look like through the years and throughout the tribes. And yes, that link is in fact to a googling of “November Project Yearbook Photos”.
And finally, here is a photo of Harvey with his freshly tagged #grassrootsgear. Happy Wednesday tribe.
